Wire Art Workshop by Krishna on March 3rd in Bangalore

I am Krishna Prasad,(@broken_box_) a self taught wire artist from Coimbatore. I work with GI wire and stainless steel to create sculptures. My work consists of recreating day to day events like sports, romance, animals etc. and imaginary, abstract creatures and structures. I am one of the very few artist who practice this art. Am working towards showing the beauty and potential of this art form to the world.

What is Wire Art?
Wire art is one of the less known art forms in India. It has been practiced in several sectors like making jewellery, fabrication etc. but not in sculpting. This art form has high potential in sculpting. We can create very detailed sculptures of creatures and structures. The beauty of the sculpture is completely dependent on your imagination and your skill in figuring out the structure.

In this workshop I will be teaching you techniques used to manipulate wire to your will into creating a sculpture.

The venue is Air Conditioned with comfortable seating and furniture with an audio system. The following will also be provided as part of the workshop.
