About the Artist:

I am Aakash Ramesh (@aakash_drawingbook), a self-taught graphite pencil artist. Completed my under graduation and worked as a Security Analyst for almost three years in Chennai, India. I moved to Charlotte, USA to do my Masters Degree few years back. I live in South Chicago, USA and work in a MNC. I got into this portrait sketching during my under graduate college days. I have done hundreds of portraits in the past decade for celebrities and customers from across the globe.

Materials Required:

Pencils (HB, 2B, 4B) other variants optional - Any Brand
Blending tools (Earbuds or Paper stumps or Tissue paper)
General eraser
Kneaded eraser
Sketching sheet (Please avoid copier/xerox paper)
Ruler/Scale

About the Masterclass:

This Masterclass is split into 6 sessions.
Each session is focused on one part of the portrait.
You can choose to attend all the 6 sessions or pick and choose the session that you want to attend.

Session 5: Skin tone and Skin texture (2.5 hours)

Analysing the skin
Creating skin tone

Session 6: Hair (2.5 hours)

Analysing the hair style of the reference
Mapping the outline

THIS MASTERCLASS IS SUITABLE FOR BEGINNERS PROVIDED YOU ATTEND THE FIRST SESSION OR IF YOU HAVE ANY OF THE PENCIL PORTRAIT COURSES BY AAKASH RAMESH

The workshop will be hosted via ZOOM (Video Conferencing Application). We will send you a unique Zoom link a day before the workshop for you to join.
