About the Artist:

I am Aakash Ramesh (@aakash_drawingbook), a self-taught graphite pencil artist. Completed my under graduation and worked as a Security Analyst for almost three years in Chennai, India. I moved to Charlotte, USA to do my Masters Degree few years back. I live in South Chicago, USA and work in a MNC. I got into this portrait sketching during my under graduate college days.

 

Materials Required:

  1. Pencils (HB,4B) other variants optional
  2. Earbuds or Paper stumps
  3. Tissue paper
  4. General eraser
  5. Kneaded eraser
  6. Sketching sheet
  7. Ruler/Scale
In this session, you will be learning:
  1.     Materials & Tools
  2.     Light & shadow
  3.     How to Draw using Grid method
  4.     Tonal Values
  5.     How to Blend Graphite with Available Tools
  6.     How to texture Skin
  7.     How to draw pores and blemishes on face
  8.     To make highlights & reflections on skin and eyes
  9.     Different hair styles & facial hair
THIS WORKSHOP IS SUITABLE FOR BEGINNERS
The workshop will be hosted via ZOOM (Video Conferencing Application). We will send you a unique Zoom link a day before the workshop for you to join.

Duration: 10 hour Workshop split into the following 4 sessions
