Savita Iyer (@urbankala_art_of_gifting) is a quintessential Mumbaikar who is the brain behind Urbankala- Art of Gifting, after her 10 year long career as a Texturing & Lighting Expert in the VFX and animation industry. The artist who works on the painted/sculpted merchandise at Urbankala.Spreads art through her workshops pan India.

 
What is Pattachitra Art?
Pattachitra is a traditional painting of Odisha, India. These paintings are based on Hindu mythology and specially inspired by Jagannath and Vaishnava sect. 
What you'll learn in this workshop?

In this workshop they will learn to draw these stylised character and , paint them using a particular color palatte and learn to do the detailing.

Materials Required:

  • Cartridge paper or thick drawing sheet,cut them in a circle of 8 inch diameter
  • Acrylic colors
  • 3 to 6 number round brush to fill colors
  • 0 number brush or waterproof ink or gel pen for detailing
  • Pencil & eraser
  • Rough Cloth
  • Water container

The workshop will be hosted via Zoom. We will send you a unique Zoom link a day before the workshop for you to join.

Duration: 2 hours
