Madhubani Painting Workshop by Sushila Prakash on May 16th & 17th

About the Artist:

I, Sushila Prakash (@sushila.prakash3) practiced law for 25 years. Art remained the integral part of my life. I underwent formal training from many professional artists like Mr.Krishnakumar, Principal, Guruvayoor Institute of Mural Painting, Kerala, Water colour from Mr.Mopasang Valath, Oil painting and Original Stain Glass painting from late Mr.Elangovan Ramalingam of CM Studio, Chennai.

I was one among the 200 International artists, who participated in the International Mural Artists Camp in the year 2013 in Kottayam, Kerala. I was one among the 70 artists who were selected by a panel of judges to participate in the "National Painting Exhibition 2018" held in Lalith Kal Academy, Chennai, organised by Pondicherry Art Akademy.

What you will learn:

You will get to know the history of the age old Madhubani folk art and introduction to the art form.
You will get to start with the basic border patterns, followed by some motifs.
By the final session, you would be having a virtual hands on experience of the colourful folk art

A3 drawing sheets
Pencil
Sharper
Eraser
Any colour mediums
Brushes - Size 000 (Optional)
Ear Buds
Black Ink Pen or Pencil or Fine liners

The workshop will be hosted via Zoom. We will send you a unique Zoom link few hours before the workshop for you to join.
