Kalamkari Painting Workshop by Rajashree Nedungadi on June 5th
About the Artist, Rajashree Nedungadi (@curiocity98):
I hold a Master’s degree from the University of Mumbai in Economics. I had my first association with art 22 years ago when I took it up as a hobby. This has now become my passion and a way of living. I specialise in more that 350 art forms. My mission is to spread knowledge about traditional art forms and ensuring that the rich Indian heritage is not lost.
I have authored a book on Pichwai paintings, an art form from Rajasthan, called Pichwai Paintings, Heritage of Rajasthan. I have participated in the Kala Ghoda festival 2017 and have received the Award for Best Performer 2018-2019 by PIDILITE Industries – India’s only arts, crafts and hobby retail chain. This year too, I am one of the selected artists for the PIDILITE certified training.
