About the Artist:

My name is Khushi Parikh (@bykhushiparikh). I’m an art student and an art educator from Mumbai. I’m a mixed media artist so I work with all kinds of different mediums but one of my favourites is definitely Hyper realism.

Soft and Medium Charcoal Pencils
Filbert Brushes
200 gsm A5 sheets
Blending Stumps
Brustro Compressed charcoal powder
Tombow Mono stick eraser or Battery Eraser
Masking tape

About the Masterclass:

This Masterclass is split into 6 sessions.
You can choose to attend all the 6 sessions or pick and choose the session that you want to attend.

How to blend using tissue paper and brushes
How to create dark to light gradation
Understanding shadows and highlights

Session 2 : 3D objects (2 hours)

How to make a flat circle look like a sphere ( 3D object )
How to make your drawings pop

Session 3: Realistic Hair and Fur (2 hours)

How to draw realistic hair with charcoal
Different erasers for different type of highlights

Session 4: Water Droplets (2 hours)

Realistic looking water droplets with charcoal

Session 5: Construction and Shading of An Eye (2 hours)

Key points on how to make realistic looking human eyes

Session 6: Final Portrait (2 hours)
