Basics of Explosion Gift Boxes by Athira Ajith on November 3rd in Trivandrum

About the Artist:

Myself Athira Ajith (@_.hand.zoned._), a final year student architect, Entrepreneur and a craftsperson. I've been into crafts since childhood. I, along with three of my friends had started a page for customised gifts - Naam in August 2017 and I have more than  250 customers now. I've explored various kinds of paper crafts in gifts including explosion boxes, scrapbooks, handmade origami cards, photo frames and so on.

 
 

What you will learn in this workshop?

  • In my workshop I'll be sharing the basic techniques of making handmade gifts, mainly explosion boxes which is one of the main products in demand.
  • By the end of the workshop, the participants will be able to make a gift box by their own.
  • Techniques in using tools, decoration and also tips to start their own business from home will be discussed too.

Materials Provided:

  1. A3 card sheets
  2. Patterned papers
  3. Ribbons
  4. Scissors
  5. Cutterblade
  6. Glue
  7. Steel scale / Pencils etc
The venue is Air Conditioned with comfortable seating and furniture with an audio system. The following will also be provided as part of the workshop.
