Sandhya believes that everybody can draw just as well as they can write. It’s only a skill that needs to be developed, and she’s happy to help.


About the Artist:

Ms. Sandhya is a self taught artist based in Ooty, TN. She has a degree in Fashion Technology and primarily focuses on Portraiture. Her Instagram handle is filled with realistic pencil portraits of celebrities. She also does custom orders, which look like they’ve come alive from photos. She’s been sketching for a little over a year now and has completed 200+ custom portrait orders and 100+ celebrity portraits! Her previous workshops on Portrait Art were held in schools and colleges in Coimbatore.

Apart from pencil sketches, she also enjoys working with Oil on Canvas. It started as a hobby for her, and has become a deep passion today. For pencil sketching, she prefers to use color pencils and cartridge papers. She’s currently exploring more the world of art forms such as landscape and contemporary art.
