Brush Lettering Workshop on December

Well, we're still reeling from the awesomeness that was our Pencil Portrait Workshop, held a week ago. If you were a participant, brownie points to you! We know you made an amazing artwork in a very short time. 

If you were eager to attend or missed out on the experience, worry not! We bring you another awesome workshop on Brush Lettering, this December! That's right folks, bring on the virtual hugs.

Taught by designer Vidya Kumaresan, this contemporary brush lettering workshop will focus on learning techniques that will allow you to develop your own brush lettering style. You'll start with exercises to practice basic alphabet shapes, creating lines of different thicknesses and using different brushstrokes. We will look at the many effects and styles you can achieve using brushes and brush markers. You can learn how to write full alphabets, and use variations in thickness while using a brush. During the entire workshop, you will receive full fledged guidance and detailed instructions on the basics.

 Brush lettering is a currently trending, unique and fun way of creating beautiful typography. Not only can it be pursued as a therapeutical hobby, but it can also develop into a career or even an online business, right from your Instagram page. It allows you to elegantly illustrate quotes or patterns with just a pen and paper. It can also be used to create professional artwork! In this workshop you will achieve the knowledge of lettering art and practice it too. At the end of the day, you will be walking out confidently with your very own poster / greeting card, designed by YOU, from scratch. 

This is a beginner’s workshop. No previous experience in lettering is required.

 All stationery supplies will be provided for you, so you have to bring nothing but your presence.
